new build problem

Ok. so i just got my new parts in and put together another build i got XP working as well as the internet. i only had it running for aobut 20 minutes when this problem occured. it started to freeze up. nothing seemed to work or respond and if it did it took a while. it cant b spyware or anything cuz the only thing on the hard drive is the OS and some drivers. Any one know what the problem could be?

 

you may want to try a memory test ... it's possible the RAM is bad or your mobo is finicky w/ RAM

ok ill give that a try when i get home. i gotta burn it to a cd from another computer first.... if that doesnt work i got a few extra sticks of rams sittin around i can test out

 

check your mobo manufacturer site yo check for any driver and bios updates plus check for any windows updates

 

ok guys i fixed the problem... idont no what i did though ><. internet explorer wasnt workin to well so i got mozilla on it (im posting on it right now) and now it works fine. well thats another succesful build.
