ok guys, i know yall are the best when it comes to information about hardware, because your the ones who helped me build my l337 computer and i love it. but my friend just gave me this case, and it just looks so empty, so on about a $300-$400 budget, what are some suggestions on everything you can think of...mobo, processor, gfx, what ever. oh yeah and a mobo with onboard sound and gfx would be nice, so i could turn it on before having to buy the whole thing. im not looking to make a gaming rig, as you can c i already have one , but just a convenient computer for storage, and other stuff.

im open for suggestions, and plz no flame wars in this post just keep it to the suggestions. thks guys <3

 

With that much cash I'd just stick a few more HD's into your gaming Rig,or opt for some removable HD's or upgrade your monitor.

If I built a rig every time I got an empty case Id be BROKE-ER,Do you want to stick new parts in for a backup pc?,I'd just use used parts,But a new hardrive,if I were you.

 

yeah, my main comp is fine, im just looking to amuse myself for a while. i can spend about 3-4 and not notice it, so thats why thats my budget. im not looking for new parts, just anything that will work. ne suggestions?
