Hello, I haven't built a computer in years. I had a few questions regarding the customizing of it.
First off, I wanted everyone's opinion.
Secondly, I want to buy a card reader that comes with a USB and a Firewire port in the front. How do i connect that Firewire port to my mobo? is that what onboard connections are for?
Third, I want to buy a case with Audio ports in the front so i can use a headset. How do I connect those to my mobo/soundcard? Can i have ports on the soundcard and the front of the case that are both active, or i have to choose which one I want to use?
Four, what is the differnece between SATAII and SATA 150? The mobo i want to buy supports SATAII, but the hard drive i was looking at is SATA 150.
Fifth, I'm not sure about Power supplies. I don't want to spend too much, but I want to get an appropriate power supply to accomidate all my power needs. Please offer any insight. Below are links to the pieces.

I mainly want to use the computer for video editing and some games. I'm also curious about software for overclocking my processor and video card. Also interested in something that shows me a temp gague of my hardware. Thanks for your help!

So onboard USB or onboard Firewire is when you can hook up another port to the front?

And what about SATA II vs SATA 150? What is the difference and will my SATA 150 HD that i chose work with SATA II that my mobo supports?

Thank you for the previous thread with the power requirements link. Now when shopping for a power supply, should I look for anything besides the voltage? what is so special about the $70 psus?

I'm sorry, I meant wattage, not voltage. Most of the PSUs i have been looking at are over 450, which seems to be enough. But should I look for anything else besides the wattage?
