New computer reboots when burn disc in ITunes

I have a brand new HP Pavillion XP Media Center, Core 2 Duo computer. It is working great with a few exceptions. When I click "burn disc" in ITunes for the first attempt, the computer shuts down and then reboots. When I hit "burn disc" in ITunes the second time, no problems, it works.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

p.s. Windows is so darn finicky. I almost bought an Apple but decided I could not spend the money. Maybe next time.
