New Computer

    I purchased a new Acer computer.... it was not installed with
    O/s
    Restore Partition
    I have no idea where I need to start???

    Where you aware that it came without an OS? Where did you purchase it from?

    I believe the OP is saying that the new ACER does not have a recovery partition.:confused

    If true, see this article;

    Perhaps it is there and needs to be revealed by that method.

    Else, and plus, you can and should make recovery DVDs. Just type in recovery into your search and you should get a screen to walk you through making the recovery DVDs.

    Now, I am talking from a Win7 Toshiba so I can't be positive about this, but I think you will find this function on the Acer. :wave:wave:wave
