    hi
    I have a new computer, sus UL30A
and I want it to run well, what do I need to do to it to prevent malware/virus or just make sure it runs well for a long time?

Moved your thread to software as it can be better discussed here.

One the most important things a person can do to avoid malware is to not go browsing around the internet in an admin account.

Most new PCs/Laptops come with some pre installed software including antivirus type stuff..
You need to be careful running multiple apps... only one anti-virus only one firewall

Move your cursor to the far right of the taskbar. Then the desktop will show. As soon as the pointer moves off of the little rectangle you will go back to the windows you had open.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if you want to minimize all windows you can also press the "windows key" + D. Press the key combination again to restore all windows.

I dont know if bumping a thread is a good idea, doubt as it only hurts me
but I am not familar with the windows7 media player
I made my selection of tracks i want to play, then I open it up and it plays
but i dont see a listing of tracks, so how can i jump to the next track without re-selecting all the tracks I want to play?

    I have tracks
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6
    7

I want to play 1 for a while, then skip to track 2....and I want to do this easiest way possible
I see the Track jump, but I'd prefer a list of all the tracks, so I dont have to think about where I am, (which lecture I'm listening to because they have an order)

    I miss winAmp
    or even the old WMP

    NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT OUT

Bumping basically hurts you only in Malware.

so how do I get windows 7 to
    1
stop asking me if I want to store passwords(I always respond NEVER ask me again)

2 when I open new tabs to show those tabs at the bottom, so I dont have to move my mouse over the FF icon in my quicklauch tabl(bottom left) to see what is going on in my other windows
