I just came across this new device from gigabyte,it speeds up windows xp boot by 60 times.

 

Console cartridges have been doing it for years,great idea,I have to say I would definately buy one,I wouldn't hesitate.

Yeh phantom menace was on a couple of Sundays ago,so I stole it from Yodas clever little green ass,I like all sci-fi really,I wouldnt say I was a trekkie,I go as far as taping it thats about it,I think theres only a couple of episodes of deep space nine I havnt seen but I wont be dressing up anytime soon!lol

If you think what it is $60 is a bit steap I think that will come down straight away,My comp only boots up once day usually,but still it would be like turning on a console,BTW has anyone ever tried putting virtual memory on a usb dongle?

I thought about that too MEMBERS REVIEWS,with all the different hardware we all have,we could pretty much cover everything,they would all be honest aswell,because we have already bought the stuff and we wont be obliged to anyone for the freebie they sent us for review,everyone can run a bench,take some pics and even better the stuff will be used untill it brakes or gets old,you could have a days in service counter in the review.Other people could also give thier rating,like in the download section,It could be great.

Someone enquired about improving the search function because no one can find the stuff they are looking for to Major attitude and he said it wasnt possible at the mo because of personal probs and stuff,so he and platypuss must have alot on thier plate at the moment.

I dont think it would take that much doing I would love writing some reviews,the hardest thing to do tho is to compare products that you dont have first hand experience with,I couldnt compare my nf3 939 to any others since I havnt had any others,its better than my kt400 socket a so my review would read-

"Great mobo,much faster than gigabyte kt400 socket A mobo,the sata ports are the fastest I'v ever had"I'v only had IDE before.LOL

 

Maybe one of the mods could decide on a product and give the main review
Members could then post their comments and their own idea in that thread.After one week that thread will no longer be sticky and a new product will take the sticky place.
