the other thing i have recently discovered is something called maple butter!!!!
its only ingredient is maple syrup which i also love). it is made by 'shady maple farms' but has a picture of what looks like alaska (i kid you not) .

 

Shady huh? Sounds like an "Arthur Dailey" business venture

So do you put it on bread, or use it in baking or what Laurie?

 

eat it by the spoonfull straight out of the jar, lol. no.. i think you use it as spead.

LOL...a Milky Way in England is the same as a Mars bar in the US. Milky Way spread is a Mars bar made into a spread

Don't you guys have Milky Way Bars, I thought they were global, like Mars Bars (Mars Bars are much nicer)?

 

Yeah we do, but........a spread flavored like that!?!? That just isn't right!!!!

I myself make honey butter at home all the time, and I can see the idea of maple butter, just something to make it sweet...but..........

Candy Bar Butter.......I think I will pass!!!!

I wasn't aware you could get a Milky Way spread!
That Nutella stuff's nice, but I feel sick after half a jar.

 

It`s been around for a long time. I remember when I was a kid my grandma used to put it on toast. That`s at least 40 years ago. I always thought it too sweet myself.

 

Pecan Butter is great. The restaurant chain "Smokey Bones" server it with their Corn Bread appetizer.
