New Glasses

It seems I look silly with my gigantic glasses. Personally I think they're practical, but they make my face look skinny which isn't attractive in guys (apparently).

Anyway, I'm not sure what sort of glasses I should go for. I'm looking for some input Rims, rimless, round, square, rectangle, oval... light metal frames, dark metal frames, thick frames, thin frames...

I might go and try some on at some point... but I want to consider what I should look for first.

Smaller rounded edged rectangles are ok, also known as the flat oval hehe, look alright.

If you want to look good in your glasses, you can take a lady with you to see them, and determine if they make you look good. That's what I would do in that case.

I do not wear glasses, but, if I did, I would wear the old-school Army "birth control" glasses, because, well, they are the most indestructable kind:

 

Yeah I was thinking that might be a good idea. Just gotta find one that won't laugh at me (too much )

Halo, I'm liking the TAG ones, semi-rimless might be a good way to go I think. I'll have to go down to the shop and see what the price TAG is like (oh hohohho ). I'm a little worried about designer ones, though, these timberlands are a total NIGHTMARE to get replacements for (like nose pads, screws etc.).

mcadam... well I've not had a particularly good night's sleep, owing to a small 6 month old who wakes up every 2.5 hours like clockwork...!

 

goldy; closest shop for tag glasses once you've returned to the provinces is in henely. just an idea =p

 

goldy.. the best advice is have a girl go with you... there are so many variations that can make a difference... the colour, shape size. they are also a personal statement aboutyourself. once you choose... let us see!!!!!

then she can tell you how far you are off. .

Have you considered contact lenses (providing your Rx allows for it) and dispensing entirely with the whole glasses issue?

Okay on a slightly more useful note, yeah I would do as suggested and bring a lad y friend with you. Decide what you think. See what she thinks. Then make your decision.

Funny thing, when I drink from one, my face looks skinny too!
