New Hd Enclosure

    i just got a new mad dog hd enclosure... i put everthing in made sure the cables were right and plugged it in. The comp starts up but doesnt recognize it but does make the familiar sound. PLZ HELP!!!! :eek:

    ps could it be jumper settings or w/e???

    This is what it says:
    One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.
    Unknown USB device
    Try reconnecting the device or replacing it.


    OK WTF is going on?!?!? I tried the jumper settings and that did nothing. PLZ HELP.

    I've had a couple enclosures that didn't like the hard drive being on cable select. Its worth a shot.
