    Hi!
I have a Dell Studio 540 Win7. The hard drive was failing, so Dell sent a new one...I'm suspicious that it may have been hacked by the service tech. My first clue came from setting up parental controls for users. Here I found my user account and another user account that I did NOT set up. I then tried to access C:\Documents and Settings-error says access denied. In searching the "C" drive, I found that the hard drive had been accessed and files were modified after leaving Dell. I also did some limited looking into some folders via the cmd prompt and found several suspicious .exe files.

Am I nuts or has my new HD been hacked?

No need for concern, have a read HERE. Also, Documents and Settings in Win 7 isn't a folder at all, it's what is called a symbolic link and is there only to provide some XP compatibility. You cannot access it.
