    Hello Dande and welcome to the Zoo, well it seems an animal fixation has infestated some, so remember to top up your shots... othewise you may well be barking at the full moon next week! ;)


    Dunno you know I watched part of a program ( Animal Passions ) on UK Channel4 this last weel and it was about you crazy yanks and how some are REALLY in love with their animals.. un-nerveingly so! :rolleyes:

    too true Kodo, I would rather watch your TV at present as ours is just really really poor... its either house building/removating/decorating programs or reality TV with wanabe talentless folk!

    give me good old US action programs or soaps... CSI is kick ass :)

    sorry, i hafta diagree. where do you think all that cr*p originated? english telly is far superior to american telly in two ways. our serious programmes dont treat the veiwers like mindless idiots, and our mindless idiot programmes are superiorly funny. ( is superiorly a real word?) AND east enders kicks butt . i actually miss english telly. specially channal 4. aloha,

    I watch some TV sometimes. Actually, I try to read while Grandma watches.
    There is going to be one good show coming, though.
    Its like COPS, except that it is going to be set in America's City, no, no, that would be The World's city. I'm talking of course, about the:


    NEW YORK CITY! :)

    I think the name of the show is NYPD. It is not actors, but real New York City Police doing their jobs...

    I hope to check it out.

    Its very good food. Just watch out for the cactus.. they are dangerous...

    Laurie dont know how long you've been away from the UK but British classic TV is no longer, gone are the superb comedys.. well not strickly true, we have endless repeats of them!

    plus we only have a few serious programs now, most as I say are docu-soaps, reality TV, pop idol, and 50 different home improvement programs oh and the odd gardening one as well... UK tv has basically died :( sad as it is we live of watching the stress some minor celebrity or nut job who wants to become famous ( Big Brother 5 )

    Thge best parts of Channel 4 now are the Channel 4 news and strangely enought the influx of US dramas and soaps... they do mind you have some great History & Factual programs ( Time Team for one )

    get past 7pm and low and behold.... Channel 4's offering consists of "How clean is your house".... followed by "Honey I ruined the house" and a classic IMO "Fraiser" ( US ) then the mind numbing Big Brother.

    Channel 5 seems to now offer the best mix of programming oh and BBC2 is still a great source of off beat programs and factual documentrys.


    sadly classic british TV is no more...... RIP :(

    Softshell tacos are a mistake. Someone at one time or another,, screwed up an order, and filled a burrito with taco filling, and fed it to an Easterner. And,, he/she actually LIKED it. In a REAL Mexican restaurant, there is no such animal as a soft shelled taco. :D
