I've got a new laptop coming in next week. It has 2 SATA 120Gb hard drives at 4500rpm.
I've purchased 2 SATA 200Gb Hitachi 7200rpm drives to replace them.
When the unit arrives, I'd like to remove the laptop drives, mirror them to the larger, faster drives and then turn on the unit for VISTA to install. This way, HD serial numbers will sync with the OS.

What is the best software transfer to use? Ghost/ Disk copy/ Twin Disk/ etc
Should I look for a local storage mirroring provider?
Any pitfalls with using an XP Pro computer to mirror the units? Do I need to use VISTA?

    Thanks for your suggestions.
