New Laptop

Well I'm buying a new laptop, cant go over $700 dollars though even after tax and all. What i wanted is a quad core, about 512mb or 1gb graphics card, and around 15 inch screen. But i cant seem to find anything under 700, had this great deal for one that was hp but it was like 850 about after 30% coupon, it was so beautiful.

Wondering if anyone can help, i know I'm asking to much for this setup and this price, i just want it future proof , because Ive been using a 10 year old desktop and i am sick of it, and i don't know when ill be able to upgrade again down the line.

Also a while ago someone on this forum recommend a laptop company that i never heard of, but i forgot the name, it has some very nice laptops, anyone who can find it gets a :highfive

That Blog post is going to be a year old in 3 months, i cant even find the studio 17 on dells website and i don't believe it is a quad core. Something a little more recent would be nice. I know for a fact i can get an i5 for that money and the studio 17 is an i3, although the 1gb graphics card is nice, its still to old.
