New member (Backdoor.win32.bifrose.d)problem

I tried the steps on top and noticed AOL spyware picked up this Backdoor.win32.bifrose.d .Here is what i did

Adware-nothing found just cookies
ewido virus scanner-nothing found
microsoftspyware nothing found

Here is my hijack log can you please help me cause when you are dealing with a backdoor virus they are never easy to remove

Follow the directions for Running Spy Sweeper

Your System is out of date. You should install SP2 and run Windows Update to bring your system Up2Date.

 

I heard SP 2 had problems that's why i never downloaded it.Does it matter where i have Hijack installed cause i was told install it in it's own folder

 

SP2 fixes several security flaws in the OS and Internet Explorer, with out SP2 installed your system is vulnerable to several forms of Malware that take advantage of these flaws. Yes, it matters where HijackThis is installed. HijackThis has a backup function that won't work unless it is installed properly.

So since i can't install spysweeper then what do i do .Another thing how do i make a log cause i reinstalled Hijack and i wanted you to see if it was right.Finally i did a Kaspersky and NAV scan both came up clean

I downloaded it and it said my trail expired which was odd cause the last time i downloaded it was a few months back but got rid of it.I did a scan with Mcafee online and it found this

I can't remember it says my trial expired despite it not being on my pc

 

First, please run Panda Online Scan. After the scan attach the log to your next post. Also please follow the below:

Run CCleaner before doing the below.

Download WinPFind

Extract it to the root folder of drive C ( C:\ ). This will create a folder called WinPFind in the C:\ folder. Inside C:\WinPFind is a file called WinPFind.exe. Double-click on this file to launch the program. Once it is launched, click on the Start Scan button and wait for it to finish. This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works as it can take a while, upwards to 30 minutes or more.

When it is done, it will show the results of the scan. Click on the Copy to Clipboard button and then paste the contents of the log in your clipboard. Then save it to a file using notepad and upload the text file here as an attachment.
