New modem compatibility

    This will definitely NOT work for a Cable Internet connection. This is a DSL gateway so it would not have a coaxial cable connection on it for the cable Internet connection not to mention the protocol for DSL is in no way compatible with cable Internet.

    My mistake, however the coaxial connector is listed in the second paragraph on page 2 of the pdf you linked to as "Multimedia Coaxial Networking". It is for streaming multimedia content inside your home.

    The technologies used for Cable Internet and DSL are not even remotely the same.
