New moderator needed

    We have an open spot for a volunteer moderator. Someone who can delete spam, answer peoples questions and step in for any problems. The most important part is answering people questions and doing so professionally knowing that you're representing MajorGeeks.

    Must have a track record of helping people and not a new member. Your biggest goal will be to oversee that people are getting the answers they need in a timely and correct manner and were treated well.

    Wow! I am honored and I am happy to help out. I am a mod a couple other sites so I know the basics - though every site does it a bit differently.

    And I know when I have the mod title, I have to behave a bit differently when someone calls me a jerk when they don't like the answer I give them about their PSUs. ;)

    Good luck finding a new moderator!

    I think Eldon was a great choice. Looking forward to see who the next one is. :)

    We're probably ok with Eldon for now. I love the email I just got from someone who didn't give his username, emailed me from an account not tied to this forum, etc. Yeah, that's a no.

    Digerati we might need another but I just lost a moderator who was easily baited. So I have my reservations. You can email me but be sure to identify yourself, unless your the guy mentioned above, then forget it on principle ;)

    I gotta admit, I am a bit confused. I got a PM yesterday that I thought was an invitation to be mod with a link to this thread. That is why I responded with "I'm honored". I think now I misinterpreted that PM and have jumped the gun. Sorry. :-o.
