this is a solid board to go with if you're sure thats the move you want to make. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131492

also, make sure your case accepts a standard ATX sized motherboard, and that your PSU is not dell proprietary (they often switch wires around so that they only work with dell motherboards unless you switch them back)

well yea my case wont accept that and my power supply wont either so can u pick them out for me. i want alot of airflow for the case and in the future i will get a 7800gs vid card so i need alot of power.

oh yea instead of gettin that 7800gs. wich is the best bang for the buck that can play all games on high settings.

the case is totally your call and depends how much money you want to spend. I just saw the review on this Coolermaster Centurion case on the MG mainpage, and it looks promising, and may be my next case since I'm going for something simplistic and classy http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/review.php?item=centurion532&file=1

as for the PSU, I'm tired and goin to bed now and will post some recommendations later, but stick with Antec, OCZ, Thermaltake, Fortron, PC Power and Cooling and maybe a few other good name brands, and get at least 400-450 watt, if not more.

Best deal I've found is this BFG 6800gs OC from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143045&ATT=14-143-045&CMP=OTC-d3alt1me

although circuit city has an evga 6800 for $299 - $120 in rebates = $179. they recently had it for $213 before reabates, so keep an eye out for that.

    keep in mind 6800Ultra>6800gt>6800gs>6800>6800XT>6800LE

or if you're more budget minded, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121195&ATT=14-121-195&CMP=OTC-d3alt1me

although I find that pricey since its similar performance to a Radeon 9800pro/XT

as for PSU, here is a good deal on an Antec Smartpower 2.0 500w http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=273503
