New Netgear router doesn't let me view homegroup PCs

Just got a new Netgear WGT624 router and for some reason it has my main desktop PC and other desktop pc (plugged directly into router) connected to the Local Area Network, and the other 2 laptops are connected to the Wireless network, thus I cannot share files between them like i used to.

this is weird because i had a netgear router before (NETGEAR WNR834Bv2) that allowed me to connect all devices on the same network even though some were wireless and others were not.

Any ideas on this? I'm contemplating returning this other router and just using the one i had and have been using for 2 and a half years

 

are the devices in seperate IP ranges? There is something really simple missing here that must be something new for that model. I've used several netgears in several different networks with all sorts of configurations and never had issue.

edit to add:
hint number is one is going to be that this is called Wireless Firewall Router WGT624 by netgear. It's going to be in the firewall or maybe the NAT settings. I'm checking the manual at http://kbserver.netgear.com/pdf/wgt624v3_ref_manual_25Apr05.pdf

 

I have idea from the explanations and diagrams starting on page D1 (in the appendix) of the link in my prior post.

What authentication are you using for the wireless? Try turning it off just for testing or changing it to WEP just for testing. Does that let your computers talk across the wireless to wired networks?
