New network problems

I just picked up a new router after following the advice of some great people on major geeks. Let me say it works great for Internet but I'm having trouble getting the laptop to see the other computers on the network. Currently, there are three desktop computers all connected to the router with wired connections. Then I have my laptop which is wireless. The three desktops can see each other and share files and printer and an internet connection. The laptop can share the internet connection but it can not see the three desktops or the printer. But, the desktops can see the notebook when i click on 'view workgroup computers'; I just cant access any of the files.

I've tried setting up everything the same on the laptop as I have on my desktops as far as microsoft file and print sharing goes and all that other stuff in connection properties. I just don't know what else to look at.

One thing i should mention is that Intel Proset/wireless handles my wiresless connection. I have the option to let windows do it, but I still have the same problem. Although when windows does it, thats when the desktops can see the notebook.

Any help and guidence you can pass on would be greatly appreciated!

I forgot to mention that all computers are running WinXP and my router is LINKSYS WRT54G. Thx!

 

Nevermind, I figured it out! Zonealarm had my laptops connection in the internet zone so the other computers could not see it.
