New Nissan Cube?

It seems Nissan wants to get in on this square cars thing. Personally I think the trend should have stopped at the first Scion version. Ugh. Thoughts?

Well, it's 'cute'...in an ugly sort of way. It's 20" shorter than a Scion and 7\10th of an inch longer than a Mini Cooper S...now that IS small!! I doubt seriously I'd be able to get my 6'2", 235 lb frame in that thing and if I could, I don't think I'd want too!!:-D Way too small for me!! Still, it'll probably find a market like the Scion did.

the scion had a market? really ugly cars imo.

 

Now I didn't say it was a BIG market!!:-D Actually, the Scion is pretty popular with the younger generation down here, but that's probably only because they can't afford the 'Vettes, Hummers, or 'Southern Cadillacs!' Or at least any of the newer 'Southern Cadillacs!!'

Hey Pax, the Chevy in the top picture, is it a hearse for Little People? :-D I will say that it is hard to make anything remotely 'mini van' styled look good.

 

Fred, I think it's one of those cross overs.. It's the Chevy HHR.. that one is the panel option, I guess for businesses etc.. here it is with visibility, I don't know which I like more though.

I had an Aztek from 2003-2006. Great room inside as it was a Montana Van with the back seat removed and the back hatch where you had to be careful what you put inside.

The trouble was it was built out of poly plastic by Pontiac, a division of GM.

Funny you show the HHR, they stopped the 'Tek and build the HHR on the same assembly line now down in Mexico. This is not to say the Mexi-car assembly is less than compentent, but the components were problematic. When my 3 yr lease was up, purchase price was 11,300. They sold used for $8000...... I sometimes miss it for the agility and handling.

 

I love the look of the new Nissan Cube.

 

I'm told that the new Nissan Cubes will start arriving at the dealerships in the next two weeks. You should see them on the streets shortly thereafter. You can decide if you like it or not once you see it in person.

Is it me or is that Pontiac aztek exceptionally ugly? Do any of you watch "Breaking Bad" because it's on that show a lot, the main character drives it, and it's horrible far as im concerned I don't like boxy cars like the cube or any old volvos for that matter...The Cube was kinda cool in the Pepsi superbowl commercial though.
