New Problems after the Read this

    So I should start at the beginning.

    I first ran problems when I was on a college website and my browser (firefox) closed and "virus fixing" software attempted to scan my computer. Naturally my first instinct was to get off the internet before it could install so I disconnected and cut my computer off. That didn't solve the problem because it happened again when I logged in without me going on the internet.

    So, I looked up removing viruses and found the bleepingcomputer walk through to remove Vundu which I determined was my malware. I ran Vundufix and it detected it and all was well until, I went on the internet again and my computer once again started flipping out and downloading unwanted stuff.

    The "read this" was my second attempt to get rid of it and all went well and was working well until I realized that my windows was drastically un-updated. No, I didn't know the risk of not updating but, in my defense, I had tried to update several times before I noticed the viruses and all 10-15 times the install failed. I don't know why, but I guess my virus problems date back farther than I know.

    Anyway, in my attempt to update windows I went through the XP cleaning procedures and the windows website was "unavailable" I attempted to google it but every time I click a google link it redirects me an auction selling type website.

    I tried to download and install the windows update manually but the download never completes or when it does it says that the exe is not a valid software, I'm assuming the virus is blocking it?

    In addition, I've started getting odd error messages and "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services" encounters problems and closes.

    So, here are my logs, I hope I can be helped. (cause honestly, flattening my computer is not an option :( )

    Let's start with this:

    * Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
    If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    * Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    * If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    * Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    File::
    C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\3Yfi
    C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\67B8oX5BcWuy
    C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\XI7Bd8ganH
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\2577180388
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\3Yfi
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\4019432185
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\67B8oX5BcWuy
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\XI7Bd8ganH
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\2577180388
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\3Yfi
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\4019432185
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\52888976
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\67B8oX5BcWuy
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\XI7Bd8ganH
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\2577180388
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\3Yfi
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\4019432185
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\67B8oX5BcWuy
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\XI7Bd8ganH

    Folder::
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Templates\AVG
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\avG
    C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\avG

    * Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    * At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    * You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    If it asks you to overide the prvevious file with the same name, click YES.
    * Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/sUBs/CFScriptB-4.gif
    * Follow the prompts.
    * When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    * I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\ComboFix.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
