I have installed a 133 MHZ chip in slot two, along with the original pc100 (I was told it should accept) and nada. Is there somethig I need to do or is it not compatible? Its a kingston, and the manual says that if it isnt recognized then I need to get another one. The PC100 is a Toshiba.

    AUGH!!

    Does the 133 work alone?

NO it doesnt work on its own, and as Im learning now this was a bad idea at a bad time. I will NEVER mix the two ever again!! last time I go against my instincts!!

not good to mix ram like that because all the ram will run at the slowest ram installed

Try www.crucial.com They have an on-line program that will check your system and tell you what RAM you can use in your PC. Bazza
