    My daughter, Alexis, has announced her engagement to Vickus Horne. The wedding will take place Nov. 18th in Cape Town, South Africa.

    I presume you will be going to South Africa for the wedding. :)

    Hmmm...maybe keep an eye out for Eldon while you are there and maybe catch up for some BBQ boerwors ;)

    I am afraid her mother and I will not be attending....money and physical limitations. But they plan on coming back to the states in a year and having a reception here. Plus they will post the video online for us to see.

    Family tree growing further. Shame you and your wife are not attending...as a thought, couldn't the ceremony be done via Skype as a visual? Some cell phones have the capability of transmitting live as well which would be wonderful if you could be "virtually" there if not in real life.

    Congratulations to the Bride and Groom to be! Current time difference is only 6 hours but in November when we move back to Standard Time and South Africa might move to Daylight time, the difference could be 8 hours.

    Tell them to marry early in the day if you intend to see it live. ;)

    It will be heading into summer, so I think they are planning on an early ceremony for the comfort of their guests.
