I finally upgraded my system to an Asus dual/AMD64 1 gig ram, 800 Gigs total HDD including portables.
I have tried to have windows keep the settings, I have tried about 6 different settings on my C drive and the empty D drive (400Gigs), and nothing I do works.
When I come back from the reboot, I get the message "System has no pagin file or it is to small".

I have tried to get it to go to my new drive D. It has nothing on it yet. 400 G drive. I have also tried to get it to go to the C drive. I have done the same to let XP find a place either on the C or the D. Nothing is working.

Either I am very tired, or....This does NOT make sence!

This is part of the instructions from MS/s site. NP going to safemode. NP finding the name of my machine. This is where I am going a bit bonkers... 4. On the File menu, click Properties. - -WHAT FILE MENU? where :(
    ----------------
Cancel that text. I had to download a special file in order to see this. It was not on my machine.

I was missing the 'security' setting :(
I have bee trying to get it going, and it STILL is not working.
What you showed me is exactly what I need but... The fella that set this machine up, did not do a complete job I rekon. This should have been done by him! :(
I am totally stuck now. I am at a point where I feel like i should just wipe the HDD and start from scratch, again. I've lost to much time diddeling around!
