   Connecting form home using vnc to the office computer, it works fine after the initial contact but after shutting down and trying to reestablish contact the office computer is frozen and needs to be rebooted. Both comps. use xp . Any help would be appreciated and I send you a thank you in advance for your troubles.

   Not real familiar with that ...but did you "break" the contact (log off the remote) before you shut down?
