New to the forum & need help please...

    Hi everyone :)

    heres the problem. I'm running windows vista and when I try to browse my computer, windows browser just closes itself.

    When I view the problem details this is what it says...

    I've done a system restore to an earlier time, and done a scan with Trojan Remover, but it still happens.

    I'm using mozilla as my internet browser. Ive tried downloading IE from the link you posted but it wont let me as I am already running the latest version. Tried uninstalling IE from control panel, but it doesn't show on the list to uninstall, it is in my programs file but it doesn't have a uninstall wizard separate. I'm probably being really dumb, but any suggestion? :eek:

    Not real familiar with Vista....but should be in add/remove under Windows Components.
    You may wish to post this in the software section.
