I recently installed a new AGP card into my computer. I had previously been PCI, which I had no problems with previously, and many said I didn't have an AGP slot. But I put this AGP card into a brown slot, the same that I put my PCI cards into. I installed the drivers for it too, but now everything has a blue tint. I'd love to have this fixed =D

This is a Dell Dimension 8100, and I'm pretty sure I installed this card into the right slot. Thanks for the help.

    PS.
If someone could show me how to check if I have an AGP slot, that would be much appreciated =)

ok that paragraph makes me cringe.

PCI and AGP slots are different from one another, and an AGP card shouldnt' fit nicely into a PCI slot, but PCI slots are generally white, and the AGP is usually brown.

so for starters, did you force the card into the slot? are you 100% positive it is an agp slot that you put it in? the agp slot is 'indented' above the other pci slots, it is a little further away from the edge of the motherboard then the PCI slots. the agp is always above all of the PCI slots
