Heya everyone. Haven't posted in a while, but I have a doozy this time.

I just finished building a new system and am trying to install Vista-64, but I keep getting a BSOD at different points during the install. Sometimes, it gets through the whole thing, reboots, starts Vista, then dies. Other times, I boot it from the Vista DVD to reinstall, and it doesn't even make it to the authentication code entry screen. I've attempted the install a total of 5 times, and got a BSOD in 5 different places.

Anyway, it's getting so late by this time that I need to go to bed, but I decided to pick the brains of all you Microsoft experts out there before I do. Here is a sample of the error message I received:

    *** STOP: 0x0000007e (0xFFFFFFFFc0000005,0xFFFFF8000985e251,0xFFFFF98001AF6428,0xFFFFF98001AF5e00)

When I rebooted and tried again, I got this one:

    *** STOP: 0x0000000a (0xFFFFFa803000001A,0x0000000000000002,0x0000000000000000,0xFFFFF8000985e251)

Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide. :cry
