Hello, all. Just installed a new version of Windows XP home on a new computer, with new hard drive, for a friend's daughter. However, when I hook up her old hard drive, set to slave, I can't access her old documents. All of the "My Documents" under her old user name are locked, and whenever I try to manipulate the file in any way, I get the message: "Access Denied". This, unfortunately, is where all of her music files (lots of them) were stored. Is there any way to get those files over to the new drive? Thanks for all your help :)

Yes! It worked! You've made a teenager very relieved and, being that she was my boss's daughter, probably saved me from getting sacked, as well!

Thank you, Halo! If you're ever in Reno, send me an e-mail. I owe you a drink! :D
