Newbe Help

    Hello all, I have the win32/adware virtumonde and the win32/privacy malware
    issues. I spent all day sunday with mircosoft on the phone 8hrs and they still
    couldn't find it, so they refered me to a highier person.

    1. I can't down load anything is said win32 error so I cant download anything
    to try to fine it.
    I see the directions on here on how to get rid of it but if I can't download the
    links what do I do? Do I burn from work to a disk.
    Please advise me

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

    Thanks for reply I have printed off all directions, but since I can't download
    anything I have burnt all the links that you have onto a cd. so is that the correct thing to do since I can't download?

    start with directions 1st

    Help Please

    I'm following the direction for malware removal and when I ran CCleaner it found 707 virsus's and said it was to many to fix wothout buying the full
    versision now what do i do

    You did not download CCleaner.....nothing we ask you to download requires you to buy the software!

    Please uninstall whatever you downloaded and then after a reboot, download THIS

    why when I rin super spyware there is a pop up that said there is a corrupt
    file for super spyware

    Depending on how the burn went to the cd, this could happen. Perhaps you would care to tell us exactly what is happening with your computer.

    And also continue on with the instructions.....we can not help you unless you can attach some logs for us to see what is happening.

    We need at least the MGLogs.zip, but would like the logs from ComboFIx and MalewareBytes.

    When I go to google or the address bar I get sent to a search eng not google and then if I click on the place I was looking for in that search eng it says no
    connection. The virus is...
    1. win32/adware virtumonde
    2. win32 privicy ?
    I have tried to delete a old spybot but when I do it said (File c:\docume 1/tom local 1temp in14d2ndat does not exsit can not uninstall it)
    So when I try to down load the new spybot it said (folder already exsit) and
    when I continue it said (error sending request a connection with the server could not be established.
    So what do I do now now?

    You continue by moving on and doing:
    Did you not say you had transfered the downloads to a cd? You can also use a thumb drive. But regardless, I can not help you without you attaching logs.
