Please peruse the attached logs that I generated following the processes laid out starting with Read Me First thread. I have tried to do everything exactly as requested to better assist those who are willing to help me.

I know I have some issues going on but cannot put my finger on it. When sitting at my wife's PC (Windows 8 OS) I hear some "bell" or hammer noise going on. This can be when no (obvious) apps are opened starting after boot up continuing ad nauseam. Additionally, my desktop icons can be moved around and resized; even my browser can be zoomed in when no one is touching the mouse or keyboard. I have even seen when in Gmail (using browser as the UI) some "ghost" navigation where it moves to a different screen! Please help!

I have attached the logs; HitMan Pro didn't report anything suspicious

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

It appears that Malwarebytes removed the only malware issue you had which was:

C:\Users\BingleFam\AppData\Roaming\midefender.exe -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

If you run a new scan with RogueKiller, does it confirm this is gone now. Your first RogueKiller log showed the same malware as Malwarebytes.

    Thanks, chaslang.

I did run RK again and it only shows 4 registry entries of concern. I haven't a clue what they are.

Still, though, the odd sounding "pinball" sound is occurring and even while RK was running and I was touching nothing my PC would shift focus to something else, like bring IE into the forefront for example. And don't forget the incessant resizing (zooming in) of my browser sessions and desktop icons. This has happened before my eye while I was touching NOTHING!

Is there some other virus (not malware) that I might have?

Sorry to bother you with these questions, and I have resolved issues before (using yours and others posts) but this one has me stumped good.

    They are not problems.

I suggest that you post in the Software Forum to see if any of this is related to other software you are running and or problems with hardware. I have seen some strange behaviors on Win 8 PCs when certain mouse hardware is connected to the PC.

A virus is malware! Malware is a blanket term covering all malicious software. An per your logs, only that one item needed to be removed and it is gone now.

Do you have any restore points that you could try going back to?
