   I downloaded something cause it was free and didn't realize that I joined a domain.now my internet stops and starts and I cant get anything done.Is there anyway to switch off the domain?

   That a new one on me, usually an admin would have to join a PC to a domain, but you can right click Computer, select properties, click Advanced system settings, click Computer Name, and click change, put the PC back in a workgroup.
