Newer Member/pc Dullard Is Very Pleased!

That almost reads like an onion article… anyway, I usually make novels outta these things, but I’m gonna try hard not to this time.

I feel like I’ve seen this site for the last 20 years, but since I know nothing about computers, there wasn’t much of a reason to join.
But I recently stumbled upon something talking about this site and those garbage ios programs that insert themselves “organically” into reddit threads and the like, one of which that I almost got, because I didn’t know any better.
My most active time on the internet was over 10 years ago, and all that stuff was easily found for free (that a friend of mine would always know where to go) but now there’s a very disturbing thing where everything seems to be listed as free, but never really is - it’s just a horrible trial where you can only move 10 files around! It’s a bit enraging to say the least. The thing is, I’m dead broke, and whenever I have a problem, I’m not a social media person (as it is neither “social”, nor “media”) so it’s not like I know where to go to find the legit stuff, and I rely on those free things! Long story longer, whatever I was reading pointed me to this site, and you’ve already helped me out of 2 jams in the last month or so.
I want to wholeheartedly say thank you! I hope others appreciate what you do, and I pray you last until the end of the world (shouldn’t be too much longer)
