I was given this laptop in the current condition: I can only access the internet through the start/search route. Once I do have a browser open new tabs or pop up windows will not load. Hence, my inability to add the logs as attachments.

I changed what you posted inline to attachments this time.

We cannot help you unless you give us ALL of the required logs. You need to copy the logs off of this PC via a flashdrive or similar and then use another PC to attach them if you cannot attach files from the problem PC. You need to attach the below requested log:

C:\MGlogs.zip file - this is the require log from MGtools.

Based on what you posted thus far, there is nothing for us to do since there is no malware being reported. I would expect that we would not see anything of significance in the MGlogs.zip file either other than things like MSconfig being used to control startups and the fact that Viewpoint software was not uninstalled as requested. So I'm not sure what all of the problems are that you are having but it does not appear to be malware.
