NFS The Run

    Hi,
    I've been hearing all this hype about the new Need For Speed game, The Run. Has anyone played the game and tested it? Well I want to know the specs for it. I also wanna know if it will work in my HP pavilion dv6.
    Specs:

    -4Gb Ram
    -2Gb Ati Radeon HD 6770M
    -intel core i5 2.4 ghz
    -Windows 7

    Know what, I love the NFS series but I do get bored at the games basic physics which is go as fast as you can so everything is a blur and if you hit a wall just bounce off it. I like to play these sort of games on a console myself. Looks like your requirements are literally borderline so I doubt it will run well on your computer.

    Hey thanks Major.
    Just so you know, I got the game yesterday, and you were right. It has problems. The game requires 3.0 Ghz and my maximum is 2.9 (turboboost).
    So it slows down a bit when my processor goes really hot. Not to mention the frequent crashes...ugh!
    but yeah I can sort of play it. I bought for bragging rights and not exactly gaming.
    Can you tell me some good racing games for my PC?

    PC? Sorry, no. I usually play racing on consoles and prefer flight sims for the computer :) How do you like the game itself? I had it in my hand yesterday....

    Well, the graphics are awesome. Especially in the beginning cutscene where they do a close up of the main character. And, yes, it is a new experience. There is no freeroam, that sucks but the actual game experience is cool.
    No customization, no cash, just get a car and roll down the highway from San Francisco to New York.
    And you get to drive the new Lamborghini Aventador! That tops it for me.

    thanks for the recommendation. the problem is while scanning my video card the website displays that I have Mobile Intel HD Graphics. But I also have an ATI 6770M 2 GB video card, which I think is pretty powerful. So is there a setting to change my video adapter or something?

    I love the game. I play it on a PS3, it DOES have it's bugs but not many. I dislike the long loading screens but I find it all worth it when I'm back on the track full steam ahead ... LOL Excellent game. Gets my heart a' beating!!
