Hi, I bought NHL 2004. It was working fine, until someday, like 2 weeks after
buying it, it started giving me INTERNET EXPLORER SCRIPT ERRORS!

I'm really wanting to play it.

    Someone PLEASE HELP:(.

    Please
    I have Windows XP
    AMD ATHLON 1.2

I tried all the EA sports' website solutions.

    They dont work:(

    Please help

    Thanks

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem... it's nice to not be alone. ;)
I tried the suggestions you... err... suggested, General.
I checked out the EA links, I upgraded my ad-aware, ran it, tried the game. Nada. Still get the errors. The nice thing is, some people seem to not be able to play their game at all, while I still can... I just have to click a box away every time I choose a new menu option.
I have the patches, so my game is version 1.03 now, I believe.

    Any more help/ideas, folks?

Try turning off script debugging or script error notification under internet explorer options.....let me know if that lets you in...what it looks like is IE is seeing the games menu as having scripting errors...and is alerting you to them...try cutting off the notification.

Also try updating IE to the latest build as well as updating Java to the latest version here is the link for JAVA

it's a script error.. javascript is not the same as the java environment. Installing that shouldn't have any effect on this situation. Though upgrading to the latest IE could fix it. whatever it is..

pulled that off of a nhl 2004 site they stated that it was what solved their problems :p

I'm still having problems with my NHL 2004. I've tried looking at the suggestions people've made on EA's site, and on here.
    Nothing has worked so far.
Every time I click on a menu option, or, basically, when the screen / page is about to change, the same type of error pops up.
Any help, here, guys and gals?

Yep, I've done that, plus I've run my anti-spyware programs which supposedly also may cause this problem. I'm doing it again right now to see what happens.

Yep. Just checked, and it's up to date, too.
I just updated and ran Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware, and Stinger. I also use PopThis! and SpywareBlaster as precautionary measures. Still no difference. Weird thing is that when I started playing the game, it was fine, none of this crap. Then, out of the blue a while ago, it starts with the errors. I'm befuddled.

Kodo man... God bless ya. It worked! I've finally had success fixing the game.
Thanks immensely for the tip. You've saved me countless hits of enter / mouse clicks of "yes" on error messages.
You made my night, man. Thanks!
