I have a Dell Dimension 4700, and the driver for the integrated NIC isn't being read. I am using the driver Dell's website gives, an Intel Pro 10/100 VE or something like that...

It worked fine before, but we had a virus and I was forced to format my drive and reinstall Windows. Once Windows was reinstalled, the NIC stopped working.

    Help please?

Have you reinstalled the NIC driver?

Ha, that was the point - that the driver wasn't working; but it's okay, I found another driver that works now.

    Thank you anyway!

I'm glad you solved your problem.
What I was asking was: did you reinstall the driver; as in unistall and then install it again.
