nice and cool

Well, with winter here (in Ottawa anyway), I have my computer in my dorm room window. Keeing it nice and cool. Hasnt really helped overclockability (if i increase the multiplier, i can only add .025 volts, and, it isnt stable. damn un-heroic CPU), (RAM has reached its limit, to, 216 is its max. at 217, it will eventually crash, even this cold). Im hardware limited mostly....but still, this is impressive. Thinking of volt modding my mobo, or maybe the 3.3volt line on my PSU, give me some more juice and a few more mhz....

The rad is way up in the case, not an ideal position, but, it fit. If I take it out and put in front of the window, I think I could drop a quite a few more degrees. mayber later.

Oh, N/A means its below 0, it was reading 0 for awhile, then went to NA.

 

Better look out for condensation on the motherboard, it could mean trouble.
BIG TROUBLE

 

Have checked, its good. Theres enough airflow to quickly evaporate any trace of moisture. Even when the air is subzero, water still evaporates, just slower.
Also, since the only air getting into the case is from outside, its already pretty dry, and I dont have to worry about the moist air inside (our rez's air is pretty dry already, anyway) hitting the cold air and condensing, that happens once the air has passed out of the comptuer.

 

looks good man, lowest I can get my AXP2000+ is something like 20*C Idle with the heating off and the window open, but at -5*C outside, that's not nice to be using the computer with
