    Hey Geeks,

Quite a long time ago (I was using either WinME or Win2K at the time :-D )
there was a topic by one of the original MajorGeeks, (maybe even Major Attitude), where he said that he has a nightly routine of running before shut down :

MRU-Blaster, either ATF Cleaner or Empty Temp Folders 283 (not sure which) and of course CCleaner.

Now I still use these, although they are all outdated (again, except of course CCleaner).

However, they all find things to remove, even after running CCleaner.

I was wondering if whoever wrote that original topic still uses those programs, or what they now use instead ?

Also, is CleanUp! 4.5.2 by Steven Gould still worthwhile?

The reason I'm asking all this is because I'm about to retire my XP SP3 and move full-time to my new rig which I have been easing into (Win 7 Pro, 64 bit, AMD Phenom II Quad Core 925, 8 GB DDR 3 RAM :cool ), and was looking for the best cleaner-uppers to use.

I'll be happy to listen to all input!

    Thanks.

    Hi

As for cleaning an Windows 7, I tend to only use CCLeaner and never seen issues in not using other apps, CleanUp from Steven Gould is still good and works in Win7 x64 (just tested latest known version again to make sure).
