How do I get to "Services" to check that? I'm at a work computer and I'm pretty sure the IT guy keeps coming by and switching off the sound on my computer.

    Hi

Are you having the same issue as the posters thread you tagged onto as in no audio or sound? if so then some details of the machine is needed, like....

    Windows Version and Service Pack?

If its an OEM PC like Dell, HP etc then what make and model varient?
If a custom build then what Motherboard is it using ASUS, Gigabyte etc make and model?
Do you have PC speakers and are they on?
In the sound properties (found by right clicking the speaker icon in the system tray *next to clock* and choosing Volume Control ) is the sound muted or set too low?

To get to services then in XP click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services if Vista or Windows 7 then click Start and type services into the Start Search Box and hit enter.

But if your work PC is managed by the IT dept then place a support call if you have no sound as in the majority of times the services list maybe blocked from none administrator access.
