No audio with Realtek AC'97 Audio

Hello. I just purchased a refurbished computer from EBay. The computer wasn't playing sound (just beeping), so I checked the audio driver. The audio driver wasn't installed. I downloaded the driver from a link I found on this website, but everytime I try to install it the computer restarts before it finishes the install. I disabled the audio device and was then able to successfully install the driver, however, the computer now restarts everytime I try to enable it. Why? :confused

That is because the audio chipset is not a Realtek, it is an Intel Chipset. You need the Intel audio driver.
