no AVG

    Hey chaslang,
    I dont have 50 chats yet, I tryed those 5.... on #2 from the link you gave me and each takes from 10 hrs - 24hrs to download an antivirus on my dialup.
    Do you know any shorter ones?

    The only thing I can suggest is you get a download manager like IDM which is capable of resuming downloads if for some reason your original connection to the download site is broken or times out. I haven't seen AV downloads much smaller than 48 MB. Then, you've got to consider the definitions updates.

    Any friends on high speed willing to download to a USB stick for you?
    I used to do that for friends on dialup. I took the stick to their home and installed what was needed.
