No BIOS at boot up

I'm trying to help a friend out by getting his computer to run. Right now there is nothing that will appear on the screen. No BIOS, nothing, the screen just stays in power save mode the whole time. I know there is nothing wrong with the monitor because I used it less than month and a half ago and then kept it stored some place until I pulled it out to use it with this computer.

There are usually no beaps, but there are Post Codes on the Mother Board. Usually it is C1 which has to with the memory modules. But it has also given me an Overclock error code more than once and others.

My question for anyone who can answer is, why is nothing appearing on the screen?

This system has an EPOX 8RDA Motherboard, there is 2x256 DDR400 ram available, an MSI G4MMX440 Graphics Card, I'm not sure what kind of processor but it's an AMD, and 2 hard drives but I'm not sure what size.

Please need help have been working on this for 3 nights now.

 

nothing is appearing on your monitor because the system is not passing POST.....if you are getting mem module error beeps,
check that your modules are not faulty, are compatible, and are seated correctly.

There are no beeps at the moment just the digital readout code on the Motherboard itself.

Although the first time I turned the computer on it gave a long beep until I hit the reset button. After that it went away.

 

It is a bad MB. The Caps are all funky shaped. Too bad that was the last place I looked.
