No Bios menu !!

I hv an Acer Aspire 6935G Laptop ...i tried to turn it on today but it will just show a black screen and a blinking cursor in the top left hand corner....it doesnt even show the Acer logo or Bios menu have tried removing the Hdd bt stil no Bios ....have also tried removing all power but still no change....it always remains on.the black screen .

What could be the problem ??

 

Have you tried removing all but one of your RAM sticks? If you have 2 or more, remove all but one. When your system detects the chance in memory, you should be taken into CMOS and asked if you want to save the changes.

 

i hv taken out all Ram but stil no change.....can i flash bios if the pc is in such a state....is it possible that my machine is permanently dead ....

 

When you removed all power it should have been; remove the battery , remove A/C and then hold the power button in for 30 seconds. If you didn't do it that way try that and see if any change.
