No connection on a dell wlan 1450 dualband + USR808054 AP

Hello,

I have 2 dell latitude d800, 1 Compaq NC6000
1 US robotics 8054 AP

The accespoint has the following configuration:
SSID: France (broadcast enabled)
channel 4
wep disabled
G only
TX rate 54
auth open system
turbo mode disabled.

HP en dell both have the same configuration:

windows zero configuration
networkverification open
no wep.

Now the strange thing is that the HP can connect with out a problem
But the dells refuse to make a connection, i can see the AP on both laptops
Nu komt de grap HP heeft netjes verbinding maar beide dells weigeren connectie te maken.

I have tried very thing. There is no problem with the same laptop (dell) on a linksys AP(wrt54gs)
One dell as SP2 (xp ofcourse) and the other one SP2
