no driver for my ethernet or sound

    I have a Dell demension 4600 windows xp home editon 2002 serviece pack 2 intel pentium 4 cpu 2080ghz 279 ghz, 512 mb of ram. I just reformated and reinstalled so now my broad band isn't working and their is no sound. I did a diognistic and it said there are no drivers for the ethernet controller or the mutilmida audo convertor. Thanks for any help.
