probably not the right forum to post in - monitor, feel free to move this post if you know a better location.

DVD's that are recorded on Toshiba DVD writer play back OK on it and another DVD player but when i try to play them on PC there is video but no audio. I've checked the settings on my sound card and nothing is muted. i'm thinking maybe i need to download some type of plug in but dont know where to start looking. I've tried win mp and real player but no luck with either of these- still no audio. OS in win xp prof.

tks in adv - any help app
