No Internet Connection

Okay I have had major problems with bad software. I used a mixture of SpyBoy SD and Adaware (sp) to try and fix the problem. This worked well (or seemingly) till yesturday, in which I was unable to get any internet acitivity as well as not able to use any administrative accounts (other accounts experianced slowness but this can not be isolated to bad software).

I have Contacted my ISP vendor and they have gotten the settings back to what they should be but advised me to try and contact you guys in the hopes that its some sort of software preventing the connection.

At the moment I am using a firends laptop in which I can access the net from home. However my computer still is not able to use the net in anyway.

I have followed information in "Read & Run Me First". "Downloading, Installing and Running HJT".

Uhm I'm a bit confused at this point of time if I'm 'allowed' to upload logs, but I have followed the information from those posts. There was some problems with some of the programs this is explained below:

CCleaner would not install and did not produce any errors on screen - do not know if there are install logs (or where to find them).

Because my computer can not connect to the net; and the laptop only has floppy disk access, I did not use, "Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool" and "Microsoft Windows Defender". This is because I do not have the time to sit down and spilt a 5mb program onto one floppy disk (*sigh*).

The scan with SpyBot SD resulted in no dections - however removed alot of information from a previous scan, I do not know if I have logs enabled :-/

Nevermind, due to time constrants and the need for my mate to leave now to go back home, I have decided to format the computer and start it again.
