no internet

    I have recently installed a gigabyte 7vt600-rz(-C).since instaltion i have not been able to get on the internet.all software is loaded,device manager shows the onboard lan as working properly.anybody have a clue as to what i am doin wrong?

    i am running window me,on a dsl.have a amd 2700 processor with 512 ddr ram

    I dont Know anything about ME, if this was XP I would say go to control pannel/ click on Network connections, then create a new connection.
    Are you sure ISP is working.
    Do you have any other PC working, connected to same service?
    Is there any firewall running on this rig?
    Does this MOBO have dual Lan, if so try the other port.
    Try a different cable, Cat5/usb what ever ya using.
